I began the Graphic series during the Covid-19 pandemic which brought darkness into peoples’ lives. It represents finding peace and order within the chaos and darkness.

This series has hand painted circles placed on a three dimensional colorfield in muted earth colors, often in some combination of greiges. The circles are painted by hand, without a stencil. This precision work harkens back to the first generation minimalists painters Barnett Newman and Ellsworth Kelly.
